Marissa Cunningham, LMHC

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Indiana with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, trauma, and OCD, offering a supportive and collaborative space to explore challenges, build insight, and develop effective tools for change. Additionally, I have a special interest in working with individuals who struggle with dissociative events/dissociative identity.

Before opening my private practice, I worked in community mental health, where I gained experience with a wide range of individuals and life circumstances. That work shaped my belief in meeting each client with respect, curiosity, and compassion, and reinforced the importance of tailoring therapy to the unique needs of each person rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

In my practice, I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. Therapy is a partnership — one where we move at your pace and focus on what matters most to you. My goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence as you work toward meaningful and lasting change.
